Empirical Knowledge

If I was to say that the media is primarily used to propagate fiscal objectives.. You may shrug, tell me to prove it and get the qualification to back it - and then what? If media were a water reservoir, starving the local ecosystem - you, who drink, would not let it run free

 

Some fiscal decisions are advised by research, ie. numerous underpaid academics, all desperate not to lose their funding - and led by some overpaid salesmen. Case in point is they don't want to provide a solution, unless it leads to more paid work.. in this way, research is directed by profit, its results yield profit

The academics may care, they may have some moral backbone - but it's not the way to get paid, to get respect in the field.. there's far too many people looking for a unified theory to find a unified theory, same as there's too many people trying to crack fusion to admit they're all on crack!

You may see my point - you’ve found that water doesn’t taste the same and are looking for something else to drink.. which is hard, when society is trying desperately to convince themselves that what their doing is fine
